Snowy Weather affecting Sunglass Sales? Try Selling Polarized Sunglasses.
Many areas are getting hit hard by the snow and ice. At New York area air ports many flights are being canceled due to the extreme weather conditions. The snowy and icy weather can help sunglass sales due to the extreme glare from the refection off of the snow. The glare can be much worse reflecting from a white surface like snow and ice. Polarized Sunglasses help by cutting down on the glare we would suggest trying a pair to see the difference.
What polarized sunglasses do:
Light is reflected from surfaces like a flat road or snow is generally horizontally polarized. This horizontally polarized light is blocked by the vertically oriented polarizers in the lenses.
The result: a reduction in annoying and sometimes dangerous glare.
